Now you have your "Violins and Violas" Kontakt 3 inside Bidule and the audio routing works as you've wished. Then, close Kontakt, restart Bidule, insert a VST instance of Kontakt 3 within Bidule, and 'load' the Kontakt 3 template that you previously saved. The workaround is that you close Bidule, open Kontakt 3 in a standalone mode, route your audio outs, save the Kontakt setup you've created (say, it's "Violins and Violas"). (this is all using Bidule standalone in Windows Vista Home 64 bit). Only the "main" stereo outs and aux channels are available if you're working from within Bidule on a new instance of Kontakt 3. The problem is that from within the Kontakt 3 Bidule, when you go to edit its mixing board, you can't direct the channel strips to new audio outs. You are, of course, correct about the differing number of external outputs on the various versions of Kontakt 3, but the problem lies elsewhere. It's not that problem - I can see what you mean and, rereading my post, why you'd assume it was this question. When I go into Kontakt's mixing board, I'm unable to assign the audio out to anything but the mains, aux channels (which is not useful) and "unassigned" channels 1-6.Īnyone solved this problem - able to add additional outputs inside Kontakt when using Kontakt as a VST within Bidule?Īdd'l info - RME HDSP 9652 sound card, using the Duplex version within Bidule (not sure I understand this but it seems to offer multiple channels) everything running 24 bit, 48k OS is Windows Vista Home Premium 64 Service Pack 2 Kontakt version is 3.5.0.025 Plogue Bidule version 0.9690 圆4 standalone. In that mode, I can only assign audio through the "main" stereo out.

The problem is when I'm using Kontakt within Bidule as a VST. In this mode, I see multiple audio outs and it's easy to assign that audio wherever you could want.Ģ. I can hear audio using MidiOverLAN with Kontakt standalone (when Kontakt itself is standalone, NOT inside Bidule as a VST). In short, I can't get Kontakt to offer more than a single stereo out per instance when it's used as a VST within Bidule.ġ.

Plougue's Bidule is wonderful and I am tantalizingly close to glory, but I can't get it to work, quite, in 64 bit with Kontakt 3.5.
